Learning Disabilities
Helping children & adults thrive through personalized neurolearning support
We work exclusively with children 5 years of age and older. Parents are looking for help because their children are struggling with reading, writing, mathematics, memory, attention, behavior, as well as related areas such as developing effective study skills, time management, organization, self-direction, and independence. A big issue for many parents is the completion of homework after school, resulting in the question: “How do I help my child with homework?”

Comprehensive Support for Learning Differences
Dr. Hale have also worked with adults who have traumatic brain injuries, providing mnemonic training to improve memory storage and retrieval. I have a background in biofeedback. Dr. Hale have worked with numerous children who are adopted, both internationally and domestically, who have a history of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) or Fetal Alcohol Effects (FAE), as well as a history of intrauterine polysubstance exposure. I like complex cases that involve comorbidity or overlapping diagnoses.

Executive Function Development
Executive functioning skills control how we plan, organize, start tasks, manage emotions, and complete goals. Weak executive functioning often appears as laziness or lack of motivation — but it is actually a neurological skill set that can be strengthened.
Dr. Hale is a supporter of the creative arts. His doctoral dissertation was about the cognitive and personality traits of creative writers from the Iowa Writer’s Conference. He is an aficionado of classical music and believes creative expression is a birthright for every child. In an age when creativity, originality, and divergent thinking are disappearing in a tide of STEM based career training and technological pursuits, creative expression is essential.
Early support can make a lifelong difference. Personalized neurolearning guidance helps individuals discover strengths, overcome challenges, and thrive in school, work, and life.
