Giftedness/High Ability/Twice Exceptional-2e

Learning Disabilities & Neuropsychological Assessment

Twice Exceptional (2e) Children

Some children with high abilities or giftedness also have a disability. These children are often referred to as “twice exceptional” or 2e. 2e children need accurate and comprehensive assessment to determine if, and how, their disability and high abilities result in learning challenges and underachievement.

Children in the autism spectrum, as well as students with dyslexia and/or ADHD, may be 2e. Parents who notice their child is advanced in one subject or activity, but struggling in another area may have a child who is 2e.

Comprehensive Neuropsychological Assessment

Comprehensive neuropsychological assessment is the best way to identify dyslexia and related learning problems. The earlier an accurate diagnosis is made and interventions are implemented, the better the outcome for your child.

Accurate diagnosis helps children receive the right support, build confidence, and reach their full academic and personal potential.

Early identification + comprehensive assessment = better outcomes
