Who is Jesus?
"I have come as a light into the world,
so that everyone who believes in Me would not remain in darkness.
If anyones hears my words and doesn't keep them, I do not
judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save
"I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know
Me, you will also know My Father. From now on you know Him
and have seen Him."
"I assure you: Anyone who doesn't enter
the sheep by the door but climbs in some other way, is a thief
and a robber. The one who enters by the door is the shepherd
of the sheep. The doorkeeper opens it for him, and the sheep
hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them
out... The sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.
The sheep will never follow a stranger; instead they will
run away from him, because they don't recognize the voice
of strangers...I assure you: I am the door of the sheep."
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you.
I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit and
that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the
Father in My name, He will give you. This is what I command:
love one another."
"I have spoke these things to you while
I remain with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit--the
Father will send Him in My Name--will teach you all things
and remind you of everything I have told you."
John 14: 25-6
"I assure you: Anyone who hears My word
and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not
come under judgment but has passed from death to life."
"For God so loved that world that He
gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in
Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not
send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who
believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not
believe is already condemned."
"This then, is the judgment: the light
has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather
than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone
who practices wicked things hates the light and avoid it,
so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who live
by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be
shown to be accomplished by God."
"In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
All things were created through Him,
and apart from Him not one thing was created
that has been created.
Life was in Him,
and that life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness
and the darkness did not over come it."
"I have spoken openly to the world. I
have always taught in the synagogue and the temple complex,
where all the Jews congregate, and I haven't spoken anything
"Therefore, since we have been declared
righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
"For a person is not a Jew who is one
outwardly, and true circumcision is not visible in the flesh.
On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and
circumcison is of the heart--by the Spirit, not the letter.
His praise is not from men but from God."
If Abraham was justified by works, then he
has something to brag about--but not before God...Now to the
one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something
owed. But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him
who declares righteous the ungodly, his faith is credited
"This is the message of faith we proclaim:
if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will
"For God has not given us a spirit of
fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment."
2 Timothy 1:7
"...let us lay aside every weight and
sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the
race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source
and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before
Him endured a cross the despised the shame, and has sat down
at the right hand of God's throne."
"By His Will, we have been sanctified
through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and
"The annointing you received from Him
remains in you, and you don't need anyone to teach you. Instead,
His annointing teaches you about all things, and is true and
is not a lie; just as it has taught you, remain in Him"
1 John 2:27
"This is how we have come to know love:
He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our
lives for our brothers. If anyone has this world's goods and
sees his brother in need but shuts off his compasssion from
Him--how can God's love reside in him?"
1 John 3:16-17
"This is how we know the Spirit of God:
every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the
flesh is from God. But every spirit who does not confess Jesus
is not from God."
1 John 4:2
"If anyone says: 'I love God,' yet hates
his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love
his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not
seen. And we have this command from Him: the one who loves
God must also love his brother."
1 John 4:20-1
"...Jesus also suffered outside the gate,
so that He might sanctify the people by His own blood. Let
us then go outside the camp, bearing His disgrace. For we
do not have an enduring city; instead, we seek the one to
come. Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to
God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips
that confess His name."
"I heard every creature in heaven, on
earth, under the
earth, on the sea, and everything in them say:
Blessing and honor and glory and dominion
to the One seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
"Let everything that breathes praise
